The WV Young Writers Contest has been held since 1984. Its purpose is to encourage young writers in grades 1-9 to use the steps of the writing process and show his or her best skills in a variety of prose genres.
This year SF selected a common theme- friendship for the students to write stories. Entries for the grade level winners have been forwarded to the county level for consideration and selected winners will move forward to the state level (individuals will be notified in March). Congratulations to our school-wide contest winners!
