This day August 19, 2014, marks the end of a very important era. Fr. Mark Ward, the designated school pastor of St. Francis de Sales Central Catholic School for the past four years, has been called back to his Passionate Order Monastery in Pittsburgh.
Fr. Mark’s tenure as school pastor came at a transitional point in the school’s 100-year history. He was able to serve as a calming factor for the school community. From the entire St. Francis school community, we wish Fr. Mark the best of luck in his future endeavors. His work has improved our school. We will continue to honor his only wish……doing what’s right for children. God bless you on your journey ahead………
