We are pleased to announce that our 3rd Quarter service drive will benefit WVU Department of Family Medicine Project MUSHROOM.

This program brings together medical, nursing, dental, social work and other health professional volunteers on “street rounds”. They go by foot to those places where they are needed most: along the rivers and creeks, down the back alleys of downtown, and under the bridges.

Their goal is to reach out to those most marginalized from society. They help provide them with the basics of care including food, water, clothing, and basic medical intervention. More importantly, they offer a gentle hand, a warm smile, and a witness to their dignity as fellow human beings.

SFCCS will be collecting items to support this drive from Monday, February 11, 2019 – Friday, February 22, 2019. Boxes will be set up for collection in each classroom.
