Each trimester, the St. Francis de Sales Central Catholic School has a community-wide service project. For the first trimester of the 2021-2022 school year, we are partnering with the Knights of Columbus to participate in the Box of Joy Program, which sends Christmas presents to children in need across the world.

Recently, each SFdSCCS student received a letter, an instruction sheet, an envelope, and a collapsed box to fill up. The instruction sheet explains what to and what not to place in the box and how to pack it. The timeline for this project is:

October 15th: The instruction packet, envelope, and box will be going home

November 2nd & 3rd: Bring back the boxes and envelopes to the school chapel

You can bring them back sooner and send them to me, but November 3rd is the pick-up date from the company.

**If your student did not come home with these items, are missing some of these items, or would like additional boxes, please contact Ms. Scudiere (rscudiere@sfccs.org) and she will be happy to assist you.

While this is being sent home to each student, this is NOT a mandatory activity. However, we do want each trimester to help a group less fortunate to fulfill our mission of “here to serve, not to be served.”
