POSITION: Middle School Religion Teacher grades 6-8 & Campus Ministry Director grades PreK-8

JOB DESCRIPTION: St. Francis de Sales Central Catholic School is seeking candidates for a Middle School (6-8) Religion Teaching position. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Religion lessons to middle school students, grades 6-8, according to the standards of the Wheeling-Charleston Diocese. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for planning campus ministry events such as weekly mass, Advent/Lent reconciliation, student retreats, May Crowning ceremony, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: All candidates must be Catholic and have active participation in their home parish. Candidates must also meet one or more of the following prerequisites:
1- Degree in Theology
2- Certification to teach grades 6-8
3- Experience in Religious formation education
START DATE: Aug. 9, 2021
SALARY: SFdSCCS Salary Chart (Based on degree and experience)
WORK DAYS: All teachers work on a 200-day contract (180 days of instruction, 13 days of professional development, and 7 paid holidays)
