Dear St. Francis Families,

As we finish our preparations at school for the Terra Nova test, I want to mention a few important reminders about next week.
1- Please ensure that your children get a good night’s rest.  There is a direct correlation, especially in children, with their quality of work after a good night’s rest rather than lacking sleep.
2- Please ensure that your children eat a healthy breakfast (even something light is better than not eating at all).  Snacks and water will be allowed when the teachers are giving students a break between tests.
3- Please ensure that your children arrive by the first bell at 7:50 each day. Testing will begin promptly after morning prayer / pledge of allegiance.  Students that arrive after the tardy bell will go to the cafeteria and be supervised by staff instead of being admitted to the classroom.  They will miss the tests for that morning.
4- Students are not permitted to be signed out of school during testing hours (8:00-11:15), unless it is otherwise approved.  If a student gets ill or there is another emergency for a child during testing, then we will naturally accommodate that student by having a staff member walk him/her to the office.  From there we will take care of the problem.
5- Any student that misses testing during the week due to illness, tardiness, or other unforeseen events will be able to make-up that test(s) on Friday.  However, it will be difficult for a student to be able to make-up all the tests if multiple days are missed.
Thank you very much to your attention to this information.
