Beginning Monday, November 28, and continuing through Monday, December 12, 2016, the St. Francis School PTO will be collecting new toys for children (ages 2 to 18) in our area who may not otherwise receive gifts during the Christmas Season.  These toys will support the Holiday Toy Collection sponsored by the United Way and Christian Help.  Each year, Christian Help’s toy collection brings joy to hundreds of children whose families have fallen on financial hardships.  Last year, this toy drive helped bring Christmas joy to 961 children in Monongalia County.

Please place your toy donations (unwrapped) into the barrels located inside the school entrance, near the Christmas Tree. On December 12, our Middle School Students, along with parent volunteers, will transport these toys to the Morgantown Armory where they will be sorted and distributed to the families in need.

If you have some time to spare, volunteers are needed at the Armory on December 12, 13 and 14 to help organize the effort.  On December 15, volunteers will also be needed all day beginning at 8:00 a.m. to help distribute toys to families.  If you have any questions or need further information contact monicahaddad@comcast.net.  Thank you for your continued generosity.
