Congratulations 2021 Aquinas Winner: Julianna Ferrell
Eighth grader Julianna Ferrell has been chosen as St. Francis de Sales Central Catholic School’s 2021 Aquinas Medal Winner, which is the highest award a student can receive from the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.
Through the Aquinas Medal award, the diocese recognizes one student from each school at the highest academic grade level who embodies the qualities they seek to instill in them. The Medal is not intended as strictly an academic recognition but “to make visible those young people in our schools who embody the spirit of the school’s mission and the philosophy of Catholic school education.”
Julianna is the daughter of Christopher and Allisynne Ferrell of Morgantown, and Class of 2018 sister, Isabella. Congratulations to Julianna and the Ferrell family on this wonderful honor!
