New this year, the Mason-Dixon Athletic Conference will award high-achieving students to the All-Academic Team per athletic season.
The Mason-Dixon Conference will recognize individuals academically per season – fall, winter, and spring – for all Mason-Dixon school sponsored sports. The Fall All-Academic Team consists of eligible student-athletes from boys and girls cross country as well as girls volleyball.
Instituted this year, the seasonal academic awards showcase individuals who maintain at least a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average while competing in a conference-sponsored sport. These awards are based on quarter/trimester grades in which the sport occurs.
In its inaugural season, 35 of 45 fall student athletes from St. Francis earned their mark for the All-Academic team. That is an astonishing 78% of our fall student athletes. Way to go Trojans!
Each of the following students will be receiving a certificate for his/her accomplishment.
