We are pleased to announce that our 1st Trimester service drive is underway and will benefit Amor for Kids, a nonprofit created to serve impoverished children in Latin America. For the past ten years, Amor for Kids has provided presents, meals, groceries, and blankets to poor children and their families in Colombia, S.A. Dr. Alexandra Amedro, SFCCS Spanish teacher, established Amor for Kids, a 501c nonprofit, over 10 years ago. Please check out the website http://amorforkids.org/ for more information.
SFCCS will be collecting items to support this nonprofit through this Friday, October 18, 2019. Boxes will be set up for collection in each classroom. Dr. Amedro will be taking the donations to Colombia over Thanksgiving.

Also, Dr. Amedro will be hosting a Zumba fundraiser on Saturday, October 19, from 8:30-11:30 AM in the SFCCS gym to raise money for Amor for Kids.
