wv-floodd

In the wake of the horrific flood disasters in the southern part of our great state, many of our St. Francis families have pitched in to help out; always keeping the mission of service alive.

It is inspiring to witness a St. Francis student living our school’s mission.

When the flooding happened, we were instructed by the Diocese that instead of having each school or parish give individually, that they would set up one monetary port for everyone to give through, which is http://catholiccharitieswv.org/blog/cause/disaster-recovery-services/. We are trying to streamline and stand in unity with the rest of the Catholic community in West Virginia in this great time of need in our state. If anyone would like to donate further, especially if they would like to donate to actual goods, we are asking them to see the American Red Cross because they know more about the needs of the victims than we do.
Thank you so much for your willingness to help with this disaster and please know that we appreciate the big hearts of our families very much!

Here are just a few ways St. Francis students have shown their wonderful spirit and service.

Also, here a few pictures of some of our middle school girls basketball student athletes Berit Johnson, Kerrington Peasak, Kannon Peasak, Sela Chico, Cat Wassick, and  newly enrolled student Kaitlyn Ammons donating supplies to the WV Flood Relief as part of their summer travel basketball team. Great job girls!
