Collection has begun for this year’s annual used book sale.  This is the main fundraiser for Mon County Read Aloud and is cosponsored by the Dominion Post Newspapers in Education program.  Mon County Read Aloud has donated books to our library and provides the manual and materials kit for Author’s week.  In addition, they provide grants for book clubs, author visits and history alive presentations. One of their newest programs is a Read Aloud and homework assistance program at the Family House associated with the Bartlett House.
Saint Francis will once again be participating as a drop off site for the book collection for the used book sale.  Books may be either carefully placed in the barrel in the cafeteria or boxed and placed neatly next to the barrel between now and March 20th.  The sale will be held in a different location this year.  It will be located at 3001 Northpointe Plaza.  That is in the same strip mall as Yesterday’s restaurant, but at the opposite end.  If you are interested in volunteering to help with the sale, contact please contact Mrs. Roff (kroff@stfrancismorgantown.com).  The sale dates are:
