The 2017 National Geographic School Geography Bee was held on Friday, December 8th. Following a series of preliminary rounds held before Christmas, eighteen students represented Grades 4th through 8th. After seven rounds, Jaxon (8th Grade) emerged as the 2017 St. Francis Geography Bee Champion.
