ST. FRANCIS PSALM students will display paintings and present an art installation to celebrate the efforts to rid the world of landmines and the 20th anniversary of the Ottawa Treaty to Ban Landmines. at ST. FRANCIS DE SALES PARISH ON NOVEMBER 18TH AND 19TH AFTER EACH MASS.
There is a 5:15 mass on Saturday, and an 8 am and 10 am masses on Sunday. PSALM students will act as hosts and guides after each Mass. Students may attend the masses or come afterwards to help serve as guides and hosts.
This is a “pre-show” to fulfill our grant obligations before December 31st. We will have a larger exhibit at the Monongalia Arts Center downtown in early February.
I am looking for some PSALM volunteers, grades 6-8 that can help hang the show after school on November 17th. This would count towards service time since it is not a scheduled school meeting. It should not take long to set up….ms. sheets

“Solidarity is not a feeling of vague compassion or shallow distress at the misfortunes of so many people, both near and far. On the contrary, it is a firm and persevering determination to commit oneself to the common good; that is to say to the good of all and of each individual, because we are all really responsible for all”
Pope Saint John Paul II, a tireless advocate for a world free of landmines
