The Snow Day Program is intended to provide a safe, reliable, and fun option for busy parents in the event that school is cancelled due to inclement weather. The children will be able to use the gym, classrooms, cafeteria, and library for a variety of activities. If the weather allows, time will be set aside to play outside so it is suggested that the children bring warm jackets and a change of clothing.
Children must be registered to attend this program and attendance will be limited to 40 children in preschool through eighth grade.
- Hours: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (unless otherwise noted)
- Registration Fee: $10 per family
- Cost: $35 a day for one child / $55 a day for two children / $70 a day for three or more children.
- Lunch: Hot lunch will be provided (same charge as a regular school day) and will be the same as what would have been for the regular school day (See Lunch Menu). You may also decide to send a lunch with your child. A morning and afternoon snack will be provided, as well as hot chocolate to warm up cold children.
**There will be a $10 charge per snow day for children signed up for the program who do not use the service. This is necessary to cover the cost of staffing.
