With a recitation of prayers and a sprinkling of holy water, Monsignor Cincinnati officially welcomed 2- and 3-year-olds to the St. Francis de Sales Central Catholic School community Friday, August. 28 when he blessed and dedicated the school’s new preschool wing.

The Friday morning ceremony came at the end of the first week of classes after the preschool first opened its doors for 26 students in two classes. With the recent opening, more families have already been in contact to enroll their child. Total enrollment when filled will be 56 students.

Preschool prepares children for kindergarten, makes the youngest members of the parish part of the community and, most importantly, puts faith front-and-center. It allows them to learn about God from a very young age.
