The County Commissioners Association of WV received dozens of entries this year from around the state, and we were pleased to be informed that Nicholas Kirchoff has been selected as the 2nd place winner of the 2015 CCAWV Essay Contest!
Nicholas will receive recognition and a monetary award of $250.00 at an upcoming meeting of the Monongalia County Commission on a date to be set once we coordinate schedules with the Commission.

One of the Association goals is to educate the public regarding the duties and responsibilities of the office of County Commission.
