Since 1974, National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic Education in the United States. This year’s National theme is “Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.” Catholic schools typically observe the annual celebration week with Masses, open houses, and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members. Through these events, we focus on the value that Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation.

We will be kicking off this special week-long celebration next Sunday, 1/28/18 with an Open House & Dessert Social at the school from 11:00am – 3:00pm. All are welcome! Please feel free to extend an invitation to any friends or family who have expressed an interest in discovering what SFCCS can offer. The growth and continued success of our school community benefits greatly from the goodwill and endorsement of our existing families. If you know of someone interested in scheduling a tour, please have them contact me (Direct Office Line: 304-777-4067 / Email: awilson@sfccs.org).

To ensure that our Open House & Dessert Social is a success, we are asking for donations of desserts and paper products. If you are able to help, please click on the following link: CSW Open House Dessert Social Sign Up Genius

The spirit of Catholic Schools Week requires the participation of our entire community. Each day provides a new opportunity for our students and families to take part in our celebration. Please review the calendar of events attached. Let us know if you have any questions.
