It is time for us to begin the registration process for the 2017-18 school year.  We thank each of you for selecting St. Francis de Sales Central Catholic School (SFCCS) to be charged with the responsibility of educating your child.  We acknowledge your support as a sacred bond in which you are entrusting your child to our care.  We intend to uphold that trust, and we are enthusiastic for the opportunity to continue partnering with you in the academic and spiritual formation of your child.  As we strive to continue to improve upon our mission, we would like to take this opportunity to share with you the tuition figures that have recently been devised by the Finance Committee, recommended by the School Advisory Council, approved by the Principal, and adopted by the Designated School Pastor for the 2017-18 school year.

Please see below for the 2017-18 Registration Form for returning families.  We ask that you please complete the form and return it to school, along with your $150.00 registration fee, by Friday, April 28, 2017.  Due to the challenges of planning for personnel decisions for the 2017-18 school year, families who fail to pay their registration fee on or before the due date of April 28, 2017, will be charged a late fee of $100.  Consistent with recent years, a 5% discount will be available to families who pay their 2017-18 tuition in full on or before June 30, 2017.

As always, every effort has been made to keep tuition increases to a minimum in order to provide an affordable Catholic education to all of our families.  It is worthy to recognize that our tuition alone does not cover the full cost of educating a student at SFCCS.  Rather, the school absorbs the difference in order to maintain lower tuition rates for our families.  We pledge to honor our mission of “here to serve, not to be served” by improving upon current programs if and when possible.  In doing so, we will remain open to new possibilities or additions to our program offerings to ensure that we are providing a holistic experience for our families and supporting the talents of all of our children.

For families in which tuition is an obstacle to registration and continued enrollment at our school, please know that we are committed to working with each of you toward retaining the enrollment of your child for future years.  As in the past, tuition assistance will be offered through the Diocese and administered through FACTS Grant Aid & Assessment.  Additionally, assistance at the school level may be available to families who have first submitted a Tuition Assistance Form through the Diocese.

Enrolling your child at SFCCS indicates your commitment to provide your child a quality Catholic education.  It indicates the value that you place in having your child know and love their Lord, Jesus Christ, develop lifelong Gospel values, and become a person of faith.  We remind you that in making your commitment to provide your child with a Catholic education here at SFCCS, you are committing not only to a financial obligation, but also to being a Christ-like model for your child.  For our Catholic families, this includes faithful weekly Mass attendance and active participation in your parish events.  Your dedication and involvement in the life of the school and our supporting parishes contribute to making SFCCS not only a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, but also a superb example of Catholic Education at its finest.

Our faculty and staff are dedicated to embracing the spirit, inspiring the mind, nourishing the soul, opening the heart, and celebrating the very best of each child at SFCCS.  We thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to working with you in the coming year to provide your child with the best experience possible at SFCCS.
