As this school year starts to wind down, many of us will begin to anticipate the fresh start of a new school year.  In an effort to guide those preparations, we would like you to be aware of some important changes to the uniform.  This memo is hopefully served in a timely notice some five months in advance of the 2014-15 school year.  Please keep these things in mind when shopping for next year.

We have completed the transition from navy blue to black so that our students can now show their red, white, and black Trojan pride every day of the school year.  We have also simplified the uniform by changing to all black shoes and all black belts for all students.

A continuing change for this upcoming school year is the full transition to school-logo polo shirts.  We are very excited about this change because it creates a wonderful look for our students that includes our mascot, helps to foster school unity, and highlights catholic identity.  The Trojan polo shirts will be available from a variety of vendors including the School Store ($18.00), School Belles ($21.45Y – $23.45A), and Land’s End ($23.50Y – $30.50A).

In consideration to the families in which the cost of our school polos are a financial hardship, we are offering an economic alternative to help offset the cost.  There will be a date selected this summer when parents can drop off their child’s/children’s current polo shirts and can pay $3 per shirt to have the Trojan logo added.  These shirts will be collected early enough so they will be ready by the beginning of the school year.  Please take advantage of sales on uniform appropriate items this summer but make sure that your purchases do fit the code (red/white/black polos with no store logos).  Patches will not be sewn over existing logos, so please make sure the polos you bring for stitching are plain.

The beginning of every new school year is filled with excitement, and we hope that both the students and parents will join the faculty and staff in our excitement as we look forward to the 2014-2015 school year.
